Due to epicness, I’m not putting this video at the middle or bottom of this post, no, I’m certainly not.
Welcome back Commander… we’ve missed you old friend…
OK guys, BiG DaH here and I’m taking a break from posting about games for a sec, not just because the XBox One is an epic failure so far, not because I don’t care about Call of Duty – Ghosts, nor is it because I think Halo is a great game but I’m not really all that into it….
It’s just because one of my best buddies in the world has a kick ass new album on the way and the first single came out today so it’s promotion time!
This is a FREE full length song so there’s no advertising or anything, none of that BS, this is legit and straight from me, BiG DaH, to you, my beloved loyal site visitors, readers, and friends.
All you have to do is click the picture above and put your e-mail address in the widget that comes up, then it sends a link to your e-mail and you just download it directly, that’s it.
If you want to be extra bad ass, you’ll see that the widget also has a button for Facebook or Twitter so you can post it to your own page and help me get this guy some rightfully deserved attention (or you can just tell your friends to go to GamerKage.com to see this post!)
I know you guys are awesome and a ton of people out there will hopefully be checking this out but even if this kind of music isn’t your thing, maybe someone you know will love it, and that’s what a promo is all about (otherwise I wouldn’t be posting it on the site!), so please pass it along!
Thanks guys and I’ll see you in the games!
Now that GamerKageTV has officially started it’s beta testing period, our very own JEE has made a great mash-up video to kick things off properly!
Check out more videos at JEE’s YouTube page here, let’s give him some likes for all his work!

Here it is guys, the new Battlefield 4 trailer called “Fishing in Baku” including 17 minutes of serious graphical beauty and intense battles making me consider getting back into some BF3 in preparation…
I’m really impressed with the lighting effects and shading, the game just looks absolutely stunning.
What do you guys think?

After a long (and mostly unexpected) hiatus from posting thanks to Hurricane Sandy, we’re back and this time we’re taking a look at one of our newest game collection favorites, Forza Horizon.
Now, despite calling it one of our newest favorites, that doesn’t mean everything is all peachy keen with this semi-polished work of development art.
Right off the bat we knew Forza Horizon was going to be a “good” game, the question was more like… how good was it going to be?
The arcade racer segment isn’t exactly sparse with competition, games like Test Drive Unlimited 2, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and Burnout: Paradise are just a few examples of some pretty stellar arcade racing experiences, so what is it that Forza Horizon could possibly bring to the table that sets it apart from the rest? › Continue reading

Just taking a minute to bitch about the exact kind of thing I expected to see once Microsoft started turning the XBox from gaming system to multimedia device…
Let’s take the nice, peaceful (well… mostly peaceful) experience of gaming and turn it into a political argument battleground for everyone, because there’s nothing I want more than to be assaulted by › Continue reading
Yeah, I said it!
“Holy Crap” – it’s an exclamation of amazement, haven’t you heard it before?
Anyway, a friend of mine called me up last week and told me there was this a free game on PS3 that you could download and create your own super hero called DC Universe. Sounded pretty neat to me since it was set at my favorite price point, so I brushed the dust off of my PS3 and › Continue reading
Well the official reveal trailer has now been released and I’ve got to say, I’m hugely unexcited for this game. I enjoyed the first Black Ops, it had a pretty shitty single player campaign, Treyarch has never done particularly well with the campaign in CoD but they do know how to make a good Multiplayer, and obviously have the Zombies feather in their cap.
Here’s the trailer anyway, see what you think:
It seems that they are taking CoD to a new, rather unexpected level. The events take place a long time in the future from the first game, the world has become dependent on an unmanned military and according to the trailer, they somehow get hacked and the enemy takes control and proceeds to ass-rape us with our own tech.
So in comes the guys who should never have been replaced in the first place to clean up the mess.
This storyline really doesn’t inspire much confidence and the trailer doesn’t look particularly impressive. A mix up of various UAV aircraft and vehicles, a few token explosions and then a few guys trading shots towards the end. My only glimmer of hope is that Treyarch wont abandon the Zombies side of the game. I really dont see that happening because Treyarch really stumbled onto a good thing with Zombies. I got bored of the Multiplayer after a while and the last 2 map packs I bought purely for the Zombies. It will be interesting to a put a futuristic twist on the Zombies game, more advanced weapons and maybe some remote controlled tech to unleash a little mayhem with.
Either way i can safely say that i wont be picking this game up on release, I’ll rent it and see if its worth it first.
Hey guys another Call of Duty is out!!!
Eh, I guess I don’t really care either…

Here we go again…
While most of us are still a bit annoyed at the last round of server killing that took place just months ago, EA has taken to it’s data centers once again and is shutting down yet another bunch of servers.
However, this time it’s a little different.. › Continue reading

Well fellow gamers out there in Europe, today is a sad day as a number of high profile European countries have taken a step in the wrong direction and have signed an act that very closely resembles the recently defeated SOPA / PIPA bills in the United States that were tossed due to action taken by the American public.
If you don’t know anything about SOPA / ACTA / PIPA then perhaps it’s time to put the games down for a second and pay attention to the news because these laws are designed in such a way that could easily make many of the things us gamers enjoy doing such as making movies, creating walkthroughs, or just capturing funny videos using games, illegal.
It’s not that they’re specifically targeting the general population of the world or gamers specifically, but I personally feel that the net of laws being laid down at this point in human existence is beyond overkill. When I think about all the new laws being put in place, I can’t help but think these are all just “backup laws” for the government to use to nail someone to the wall at any given time.
Once the government has enough laws to arrest you for simply standing in the same place, it’s over, but this is just another step in that direction.
P.S. The government just took down MegaUpload for the same reasons SOPA / ACTA / PIPA were supposedly being put in place for. So if they were able to do it without SOPA / ACTA / PIPA, why do we need SOPA / ACTA / PIPA?
Simple answer: We don’t.
I definitely hope the European population can pull off what Americans did and stop this where it stands, because if they don’t, the internet is about to change dramatically for everyone.
So, since there’s been so much focus on the SOPA, PIPA, and ACTA (multi-national version of SOPA / PIPA) legislation, I thought… what better time than now to share with you the work of our very own xO JEE Ox who has created a video tutorial for you all to learn how to use Roxio’s awesome capture device, the Roxio Game Capture! › Continue reading
This letter is to inform all of you that GamerKage.com (including BiG DaH’s KaGE and GamerKage Forums) will be participating in a 24 hour blackout on January 18th 2012 in protest of the upcoming legislations known as SOPA and PIPA.
Both of these potential “anti-copyright infringement” bills are extreme and unyielding in their bastardization of the internet and your rights and freedoms as a human being. They will suppress voices, destroy creativity, and turn you and your neighbors into criminals without you even realizing it.
These bills are designed to give corporations and individuals the ability to shut down websites they feel could be potentially infringing on copyrights and also give immunity to internet service providers who shut down those websites, leaving you and other potential non-intentional copyright infringers out on your ass.
Wikipedia, Google, and hundreds of major websites have come out against these bills with millions of individuals speaking out as well by both protest and petition.
For more information, please visit www.google.com and type in “SOPA”, then when you’re done getting sick to your stomach at the thought of being imprisoned or fined for posting videos of something cool you did while gaming, go ahead and call your state representative and let them know how hurtful and dangerous bills like these are to the enjoyment of our lives and freedoms of expression and creativity.
Here are some more links to find out information on these bills:
The actual bill itself:
The bottom line here is, if you want to be able to enjoy going to gaming websites and being able to collaborate and share your fun with friends and the world using any kind of media online, then you cannot ignore this or any other bill that tries to stifle us all.
The internet must remain free for all and I encourage all fellow web admins and bloggers to join us in speaking out against this corrupted legislation by blacking out on January 18th, 2012.
Thanks for reading this and for any action you will take on your own to make sure this does not become law.
Based on the headline alone, I’m pretty sure that most people will imagine this is an article intended on bashing Battlefield 3 a bit, but before writing anything further, I do want to say right off the bat that Battlefield 3 is an amazing game. In my personal opinion, there is not a single first person shooter on the market right now that can compare to the intensity and all-encompassing gameplay that BF3 provides.
However, given all the hype surrounding it’s release and having also previously been a Battlefield 2 player, I can’t help but point out that Battlefield 3′s main advantage over Battlefield 2 is simple….. it’s all in the › Continue reading
This has got to be one of the best kills I’ve seen in Battlefield 3 yet, RendeZook on YouTube gets the credit and bonus points for the music choice too!

OnLive, the online “cloud” based gaming platform has announced the release of an app for the Android smart phone and tablet market to allow for playing top level games.
This is actually a pretty significant event since up until now we’ve pretty much been bound to sub-par renditions of the games that we do enjoy like Need for Speed or any other “trimmed down” version of a game we otherwise love on console. › Continue reading
